The modern infrastructure of Matam includes a network of roads, parking areas and underground facilities.

Shatam Company supplies the entire park with running and maintenance services of the highest quality, maintaining the roads, sidewalks and vehicle parking areas of the Park.


Bank Services

Postal Services

A postal agency is situated in Building 6 and provides all postal services including the postal bank, for the transferring of money, car ownership, and health schemes, change.
It also provides internal postal services between Matam companies free of charge.
The mailboxes for outgoing mail from Matam are situated at the entrance of the agency and next to building #22 on the western side of Matam.

The agency's hours are: Sundays - Thursdays between 09.00 - 16.00, with the exception of a short afternoon break between 13.00 - 13.30.

Communications

Bezeq - Call Company provides the Park's occupants with advanced communications' services which include an excellent telephone exchange center, , telephone services, computerized services, internet, broadband, cellular and international communications. These services are for the sole use of the park's occupants.

Central Air-conditioning

The majority of Matam's buildings are connected to an energy center, supplying them with cold water for air conditioning and hot water for heating. A power center regulates the heating and cooling supply, guaranteeing air-conditioning availability at all times.
The energy center provides the tenants with redundancy and enables them
a low cost of air conditioning.
These services are for the sole use of the park's occupants.

The Campus Panorama

The well cared for areas of Matam provide green lawns, picturesque squares, avenues of trees, luscious vegetation and sculptures, which add to the natural panorama of the park.

Shady seating areas with benches allow the workers to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the sea.


Cleanliness

The Management puts special emphasis on the cleanliness and ecological aspect of the Park.

The removal of garbage containers from the Park is carried out daily. In addition, regular, daily cleaning of the roads, sidewalks, gardens, garbage containers and all areas of the Park are also carried out.


Parking and Transport

Vehicle entrance to Matam

Entrance to the Park is controlled and allowed upon showing identification document. Suppliers, contractors and temporary workers are allowed entrance only upon presentation of a temporary entry permit.

Transport

Shuttle service between the Carmel Beach train station and Matam is provided Sundays - Thursdays between 07.00 - 10:00 and from Matam to the station 16.00 - 18.00 free of charge. In addition, there is a countrywide transport arrangement for employees to and from Matam, set up by Elbit Systems Company. Telephone: 04-8316236.
The transport system is thought to be beneficial for the employees' access to work.

Parking

Matam provides parking areas for employees and also a parking area for suppliers, guests and other occasional visitors.

Child-Care Centers

Four day-care centers are operating for Matam's employees' children, from the ages of 3 months to 6 years. These day-care centers cater for about 350 children in 11 classes (with full occupancy).
The day-care centers are open all year and are coordinated with Matam's companies' vacations.
The day-care centers are open from Sundays - Thursdays between 07.30 - 17.00 and are run by Na'amat. These centers include:

Trained and experienced nurse-maids with educational abilities.
Close supervision of learning programs
Suitable teaching measures with accent on high quality
Fully equipped rooms
All the day-centers are air-conditioned
The centers are equipped with computers and special study programs suitable for the children
A healthy diet is provided under supervision of the Health Ministry
Extra curriculum activities are provided by specialized teachers (physical education, music, and caring for animals).

During the summer vacation Na'amat runs summer camps for those who so desire.

Clinic

The clinic staff comprises of two nurses and a visiting Doctor, who receives patients once a week.
The clinic is located in building 6.
The services provided by the clinic are:

Employee medical services according to law, such as: employment medical check-ups, physical fitness check-ups following illness or accidents, supervision check-ups for employees working in dangerous environment, etc.
Monitoring of companies' and children's day-care centers' kitchens
Providing first-aid
Periodical blood donor campaigns

The clinic has a Shahal membership.

The park is supplied by two different transformer stations in Haifa, to enable the continuous flow in case of electricity failure.

In a number of the Park's buildings (for example: Building #30, Matam Tower #1) Matam Company provides internal management services, such as:

The cleaning of public areas
Fire extinguishers, air-conditioning, elevators, electricity and an emergency generator

Building control
Continuous maintenance (public amenities such as doors, windows, toilets, etc.)
Gardening and indoor plants

Shatam

The uniqueness of Matam Park is in its enclosed area handled together centrally by its management and the occupants of the Park, Shatam Company. Shatam was established in 1979 and all its regular shares are held by Matam Company. The management shares are equally held by Matam Company and the Park's occupants. Thanks to its Management Company, Matam is able to grant a large choice of necessary services permitting the companies in the park to concentrate on their own businesses.

This concentration of the management of the services and infrastructures guarantees the essential smooth running of the facilities.

This form of management permits the Park's occupants to enjoy high quality work environment without outside disturbances, with coordination in determining the various services provided.
